1st skull piece. Very interesting on more levels then expected. As I draw the contour of the bone the surface flakes off, dips and rises and I get more and more in to the shape of this creature's face. Pretty intimate. Really satisfying to see how I can accent the existing shape. My Dad & Grandfather found this on a family friend's farm in Nebraska, had it bleached and its hung on the wall at my Grandmother's house since I was a child. I'm honored to breathe new life in to it!
