My art is currently being featured at Glorious Gardens for the month of October. I've picked my favorite pieces to display at their original size and sizes up to 6x bigger. I have framed, signed reprints for sale and orders available.
This coming Thursday the 9th & Saturday the 11th I'll be on location working on a large canvas for the show! Friday Oct. 17th from 6pm - 9pm I will be hosting an event with live music, food & drinks and of course my art! 1st skull piece. Very interesting on more levels then expected. As I draw the contour of the bone the surface flakes off, dips and rises and I get more and more in to the shape of this creature's face. Pretty intimate. Really satisfying to see how I can accent the existing shape. My Dad & Grandfather found this on a family friend's farm in Nebraska, had it bleached and its hung on the wall at my Grandmother's house since I was a child. I'm honored to breathe new life in to it!
17.5 ft x 9 ft Mural of the "Heart of Zion" sandstone cliffs. Outlined & filled in with patterns in place of solid color. Located in Springdale, UT – at the mouth of Zion National Park Happy Cinco de Mayo! Spent my day @ Nolbu gettin down with the paint pens on my 2nd day with this piece. Filling in the patterns. Located in San Diego (kearny mesa), CA – Gastropub off Convoy with a great selection of craft beers!
Have had 4 trips out to the Anza Borrego desert this year. They have been a source of inspiration I could have never anticipated. Thank you for your beauty, your harshness and subtle but vibrant color!
